This is a picture framed herringbone weave with mottled coloured pavers. I hired a 3 tonne excavator to clear the area of dirt, rocks and roots. Then, 100mm of crusher dust was brought in and leveled with a plate vibrator compactor for a solid base. The pavers were laid on 30mm of bedding sand.
A sleeper wall was also build around the garden beds as an edged for the patio.
